Journal Turning
Journal Turning is a service that is critical when bearing and couplings pick up or drag when removing or installing on a shaft. Sometimes shafts have other problems when they are out of round. In-situ journal turning offers a great value on turbines, coal mills, screeners, pumps, fans - you name it!
We have flown in to locations to fix customers shafts on a moments notice. We have been told that we have saved a power company $750,000.00 of disassembly costs by fixing their shaft in-place on a coal mill. Other times we have fixed shafts when our customers had been told that it could not be done in-place.
We would be happy to assess your journal problems. Give us a call.
